I have a spotlight pointed at a spider web alpha map. It casts the correct shadow in raytracing renders, but I can't figure out how to bake those shadows onto a texture. My batch bakes just show up black.

So I've tried various ways and cannot get this mesh to subdivide without deformation. Can anyone point me in right direction how to resolve? I have all quads, no tris, no ngons, I moved the spiders away from the edge of the opening.
Very much loved this game, but I didn't finish it (close to the end though). I think it lost its creepy factor quickly and was replaced with machinery instead. MORE SPIDERS. It's some pretty sadistic game design in there.

SPIDER FUCKING MAN ALL UP IN THIS PIECE I will be buying one of these... just like I did PS2 Slim and psOne slim I learnt my lesson never buy a sony console first off.
nice progress ;) Love that award badge on the spider robot, nice touch. Maybe it could be even bit bigger to notice it more... Textures r great as usual here. Maybe some hanging wires from the ceiling...
Vanquish has great action and pace. True the un-skippable cutscenes are a total pain in the ass (why not let us skip?). Besides that, this is a great game. Just beat the spider robot thing, cool bad guy!
