Hi guys,
Been a while... I've decide to post a thread for what started as a challenge from one of my coworkers. After having done the sculpt of the head. I've decided to do the whole character with the kingsguard armor. This is all work in progress. Comments are welcome.

Slowly but surely. Thanks you very much for your encouragement. Here's a small update. Most of it still roughly sculpt. $:\$ Not satisfies with the chest motifs, I may refine them. I need to focus a bit more. Still a big load of work to do.

The creases & folds in the pants look artificial to me; I'd really expect them mostly near the knee joint and the crotch. Depending on the material, there could be a gather at the top of the boot.

A split-tailed coat would be more typical for an equestrian. He could ride side-saddle, I suppose, but otherwise the current design would really get in the way. After extensive research, lasting literally tens of seconds, I found an appropriate reference image for the coat:

Seriously its been ages that I started this thread. We can say a just abandon the project. But recently I just open my old head sculpt and start experiment with KeyShot. I know I need to work more on it. But here's the result for now. Comment are more than welcome.

Thanks man! I'm not satisfies yet. But It's getting there.

Its was very instructive to play with the new Keyshot bridge and Fibermesh. Lots of potential in those tools. I may be able to finally make the Teddy bear of my dream now!

I'm trying to nail this job like a pro.

It's not an easy task. The texture is gone, I removed the asymmetry and most of the skin details. I'm back to the basic. Comment are more than welcome.

By the way I know that FiberMesh as been out for a while. But, like me, some of you may be unaware of all the secrets hidden in the brush menu.

-Preserve Length can be turn on for the Smoothing Brush.
-Lowering the Front Collision Tolerance will push your hair closer to the geo under it.
-If you need to move the roots of your hair you need to turn off Auto Mask FiberMesh.

The likeness is pretty good, but the eyes could use some more love. His lower eyelid should be more defined and his eyes are protruding too much in your sculpt, they should be set deeper into the skull. I think your FOV might be set a bit too high, his head could use some more width.

It's not far off though, could really get great
