Just some things to note, these weapons were considered new back in 1944. They would only have been used in training and excercises. They were also very well maintained, so the look of the weapons should not look as if they were dragged through a field.
If I can get crits and comments on how to bring more out on these it would be great.

It looks like you have made the textures in 512 and then resized them to 1024.
Or... Have you saved them as .jpg with low quality?
If I were to give you just the links to the textures, not everyone would view them. Put them infront of people, and they will have an opinion and hopefully they will comment.
Not a bad texture, but i think it lacks a lot of detail. The big metal plates are just a plain grey colour with some blunt highlights and shadows painted on. I'd add sharper light effets, more colour variations (like some blue and green bits) and with a simple action of a low opacity metal texture overlay it would improve a lot.
