Inspired by the Liveworkshop.com art panel I'm going to a workshop thread to get feedback and track my own progress.

Ive never created a concept for myself so this is something I wanted to practice before modelling.

Oooooh, I like that armor! Although I'm a bit confused about the things that is on the bottom of the armor. Are they cloth with a golden trim or armor? Because to me they seem to have a mix of both elements right now. Also I think you should make the hair a bit shorter. Right now it seems too much like super sayajin hair. But it's a really nice concept^^

That's great feedback thank you. Ill refine the side armor things.

I'd like to keep the long flowing hair if I can get away with it, ill tweak it some more to try to get away from the Super Saiyan thing a little.

The hat is a back up plan, had some over feedback to match the glowing beard. Might try it out also.

I really really think you could do something cool with the head slot (the hair, not the hat) but right now he kinda reminds me of:

maybe remove the earrings? try to make him more manly

Thanks for the feedback guys, Storm Spirit is slightly on hold for a minute.

Been having real trouble mastering the masking system in Dota so I did a little test project of some Riki Butterfly daggers.

I actually dig the storm hair a lot. If you would find a way to animate the hair with cloth physics it would be absolutely gorgeous

Thanks, the storm is the next set im working on. Im just trying to iron out some style and mask issues on some singles.

I couldn't for the life of me get that butterfly to look decent on Riki so I changed it up and slapped it on Slark. I think its a much stronger fit.

Spent my labourday refining these textures, redid the boar fur, turns out I suck at boar fur but I think its better. I want to avoid it being noisy from far. The best ones Ive seen in game are clumpy.

I'm loving those summons! It's great when people do stuff that it's way better than the default, and I really like how the boar actually resembles a boar haha.

Anyway, I agree that the fur on the boar could use some love. It's already a lot better than the last shot, but I think the occlusion is a little bit too strong, and you could maybe use another color to add some extra contrast to it, like a gradient from a less saturated brown to a lighter more saturated orange at the tips and front.

It's looking really really good, probably my favorite BM summons. Keep up the awesome work!

I agree with belkun, a gradient on the tufts of fur would really help, other than that I think its prefect!

That looks so much better! Really great work. I'd personally just add some more sharp highlights and increase the saturation just a tad. It looks good though, awesome progress!

I need your help Polycount!

I asked my TA from my old studio to rig up my pig and we are having ALOT of trouble getting the rig to function in game. I know little to nothing about rigging/rigging in dota 2 so I can't really help him out and this is his first endeavor into DOta 2 stuff. Is there anyone out there that might be kind enough to look at our Max file or .FBX and give us some guidance? Would really help us out.

Also I submitted this just for fun a few days ago.
