Love the presentation and the polish in the concept! Nice style too yo!
I know its a WIP but this character looks like some sort of monk right? Maybe her hands should be a bit thicker in the 3D, like in the concept .
Can wait to see what you do with the texture!
Keep up the great work
PEACE
@ Jared - Watch your balls Made her hands thicker like you mentioned, thanks for the input.
praetor187 - Your too kind, thank you I really hope I can get the concept to work in 3D.
Fenyce - Much thanks, wish progress was going faster, haven't modeled anything in max in months...very bad
Di$array - Yip yip, I wanted to model the hair as one mesh, usually just layer hair with planes. I pushed the polys for more volume. Thank you for the input it was helpful
I started painting the diffuse. A few concerns though, the mesh has issues, some I like, some I don't. The nose I prefer in the 3D version. I will just make it a little wider, but the eyes are way to anime for my taste, needs to be reworked.
stevston89 - Sure
Tits - Haha, classy name. Thank you for the complement.
Looking forward to see more
Thanks again for all the input everyone, it was a huge pleasure to post the process here and I hope to do another model very soon
Fomori - Thanks man, it's finally done
Tits - You indeed are, thanks for the kind words
CoujarJo - Thanks a ton!
Lovely texture!
And you nailed your concept!
Soo Awesome!
Spot on to your concept, great job.
Can't wait to see her posed.
Excellent model and texture work by the way, really captured the feel of the original concept . Look forward to seeing what your next project is.
Crits: looking more at the cloth I feel its a bit blurry. Cloth doesn't really fold so smooth! Unless its lying flat.
OverMarvelous - Haha, I agree about the cloth. I totally need to practice it a lot more, thanks for the crits.
Cheers buddy!
X³²Lapis - It's only a pleasure, I really hope it's of some use.
amile duan - Thank you kindly
one nit pick of sorts - her right hand, could maybe change the pose on that a bit, make it into a fist, or a more deliberate "open hand". At the moment it feels a bit like it just hasnt been posed yet, which works for the other hand, but not quite the upraised one.
anyway, awesome stuff man!
Finally some pictures I can save to my HD!
Caldria - Thanks a ton Warren, you are totally right about the hands. To be honest my rig wasn't made very well and caused deformation in the hands so I tried to avoid moving the fingers too much
87roach - LOL, thank you kindly.
DougClayton4231 - Thanks man
