Hey there,

I´ve been working on that spanish village during christmas-vacations. Allthough I have little time work on the scene right now, I thought I might post it here to get some feedback.

    added a fountain yesterday,
    tried to create some interesting water and wetness effects here.

    I like the lighting. Materials seem to be coming along nicely. Walls are a bit pristine at the moment, but I'm sure that will change. Fountain looks good simple but nice. Do you have a story in mind for this scene?

    This is looking pretty well, nice feeling. The fountain texture looks very nice.

    Maybe the floor is too much horizontal? I would make it a bit more bumpy.

    PD I'm from andalusia :)

    hey,

    @Wilex: lighting is nothing but the standart mid-day udk-preset, just turned the dominant-directional-light a little. I use rather high-res lightmaps to capture the details in the indirect lighting.
    You´re right, I definitely have to do something about the connection of the fountain to the wall. Right now just sticks in there, not to plausible I guess.


    @JostVice: I´m happy you like it as an andalusian!
    I will try amplify the normal map on he ground. Also should I add some height-variation in my ground-meshes?
