Hey guys,

This is part of a larger Roman project I'm working on. It's a column and entablature of the Roman Doric order, which will be used as trim/props for some Roman architecture. The full model is about 2,000 tris/1,000 verts.

I'm going to put it in UE3 later. Right now it's just lit and rendered in Max.

I was looking for some comments and critiques. It's my first serious attempt at using a sculpted high poly model for the textures and normals. So be gentle!

I think you should have a relief in the wall\roof part of the piece. Also, how old is the column. I would also like to see more color variation. I don't mean obscene apparent color changes. Just a small shifts to blue or something like that. If you look closely at rocks, they are rarely every just one color. Also your texel density seems to be a bit off. can you post your unwrap.
