I laughed so hard reading that forum, some of the comments literally made me so very nearly piss my pants. Anyone know who the guy trying to offer him advice is? Quotes himself 5360.
i never involved myself in his threads for the simple reason that he eerily reminded me of this guy from a couple years back... the main rant starting about how his facial topology was better than what is typically used... if you're up for some twilight zone style character action and have time to read his epic posts, check him out... the shit is jaw dropping!

Selling shit in general chat is not against any rules I tried to find, but I cannot do anything but agree that it is a rule in any case, so thats right.
but likewise, being a dick was also mentioned as quite against the rules when I looked for information, and generally his threads has been filled with nonsense, ironic answers, the shittiest critique that exists in our known universe, along with just plain junk, there's no way anyone can improve on that kind of stuff.
rarely was he ever actually warned in all seriousness, he was just worked up even more without eve being given the polycountworthy "your work is shit, here's how to do it better".
But then again, I believe most people acted on the whole belief that he was a troll.
While selling stuff on polycount isnt strictly forbidden, and infact sometimes encouraged, there is a big difference between a guy like belias/3dguru, and someone like Ryan Clark(crazybump) or Riki(eat3d) who work very hard to offer quality services that directly benefit the community, stick around to take feedback from the community etc.
A guy like Belias, who is just trying to crap out random things, imediately abandoning his half-cocked plans for another half-cocked get rich quick scheme after they fail, and has shown no real desire to either improve his own work or contribute positively to the community. Only sticking around for the remote chance that the exposure and attention he gets will somehow make him a millionaire.
Now we all have goals and aspirations to make money, but there is a professional way to do things.
I work in finance, everything except BBC, Bloomberg and Polycount forums is banned, even my health-food website is banned under 'unregulated compounds'.
So can Belias or whatever his name is still read the forums to read the post-mortem?
If it was a prank (or social experiment ) I think he punked himself.
Earthquake, true, with that last thing, no matter how unexperienced he was with handling things he still was an adult, and should know how to act in here, or get some experience somewhere else.
