Hi-rez ver. of "Out of This World" (Another World)

you might just remember this ol' game:


Well apparently the original creator has made a higher resolution update of the game. same game, just nice and crisper. And no monkeying around with emulating or whatever.


I think there's also some talk of getting it on X-Box Live Arcade, which would be a great move--there are new generations of gamers that ought to exposed to classics like this.

Wowwwwwww talk about nostalgia.

this was the game that introduced me to cheatcodes...it was just tooo freaking tough for my ten-year old brain to handle.

out of this world was awesome. some parts were so friggin frustrating. Flashback was my favorite! as was Fade to Black (Flashback2)

Damn, talk about a blast from the past, some of the moments in that game were awesome as hell, like the time that brute picks you up, strangles you, you crotch kick him, roll away and vaporize him.

Wow, it's good to see Another World again. I play the original version occasionally, so this is really good news for me. I think a handheld version would be awesome too.

Yay, that was an awesome game. I loved the cutscene at the beginning when you got killed by those socks with stingers.
