[3DSMAX] an MCG modifier for Arrays + Weld?

Is there an MCG for 3DSMAX that creates an array of objects? I want to use the new path deform modifier of 3dsmax 2018.2 together with an array MCG modifier and the welder modifier to create a modifiable spline array.

  1. – Create a one-dimensional array of objects (repeat objects) Preferably spacing automatically by the size of the object.
  2. – Use the welder modifier to merge topology of MCG created objects (optionally for geometry with open borders).
  3. – Use the new Path Deform 2 Modifier in combination with the Auto and Uniform stretching ON.

 This would create a ‘merged’ array along a spline that can still be modified at any time. For instance, the number of objects can be changed or topology of the instance object modified.

I tried with the Flux MCG modifiers (from MCG sample pack 2), But it is slow and unstable and also does not allow meshes to be welded.
