Hey all! First post here.  :)

As an environment artist I wanted to do some more sculpting and explore creatures.
I decided to start with something easy but challenging.

I am struggling quite a bit with the attachment of the tail, Not sure how this should flow. Though I feel that I am on the right path.

More updates to come!

Sorry for the late update! Had a lot of work for university as I had to prepare for exams :)

I did manage to spend a few more evenings on this creature

    Work I've done so far
    - overall body proportions
    - arms
    - wings

I think I got the body proportions correct, I am happy with how the tail connects to the body now.
Still trying to maintain that S curve of the body

    Coming up next!
    - More body posture fixes. (hands are incorrect. some facial features too pronounced. etc.)
    - wings!
    - maybe reducing the muscular feel. However, this made it easier for me to find landmarks and it gives this skylanders feel to it which I like.
    - detailing!

    Small update!

    Calling this blockout finished!
Finally finished the body proportions that i am overall happy with.

    Work done this update:
    - merged legs back into the body for better adjustments. / keeping arms seperated for easy detailing of the belly later on.
    - focussed a lot on how the tail attaches to the pelvis (Yes once again)
    - smoothen out some details on arms and legs for overall consistency

and playing around in marmoset just for funs :)

Feedback is still very much appreciated! :)

    Coming up next!
    - Details
    - Polypainting (?)
