Hey guys, I'll be doing some exploration in spacecraft design as well as some ingame models. I've worked as environment artist and prop/asset artist in some games for the last years, however not space wise that it's my ultimate goal.

This model started as a small multi purpose and cheap spacecraft for small operations around bigger ships.

Hey Guys, some updates! And screenshots, modeling wise I've been working on the observation module(front part).

And as I wanted to have a cool background->hdri, and there are not many options to buy/download high res shots of the space, I created one scene in UE4, with some night lights, panneling clouds. I just found some maps from mars and I modify them in photoshop+substance designer, the only bad thing about this method it's that unreal can't render an hdri bigger than 4096x2048, and that's not as good as I wanted. The good part it's that you can take as many hdri as you want with different perspectives/planets.

Trying something else, inspired from the big cargo ships, this one is called Ice Hunter, it's job it's to hunt ice asteroids from planet rings as in Saturn. Tried to make it modular and realistic. Small hooks hunt ice individually for maximal efficiency.

I'm updating another one I had that I was doing some months ago. This one is a small transport.

This one took a couple of days and it was the first time I tried to render a highpoly so kind of exploration. Star wars design so it went quickly. I already have the lowpoly but not sure how to present it.

Hey guys, so I finished the tri-fighter droid, I'm quite happy with the result. Also feels good to finish something... xD and it was quick following the concept as if it was production. These shots are the same on artstation, I don't know what can I show thats "exclusive" for polycounters maybe the mesh...

Hey, all models are looking very good high poly wise but why don't you try to push them a little further and texture them all? I think they can benefit enormously in presentation by just doing that as you can see with the Tri-fighter droid. Very cool job anyway.

@HectorLucas I know! Usually is because I'm not that happy with the result yet and I want to keep working in the design/highpoly stages. I'll try!

Closer to finish subdiv, worked in small parts and landing gear.

The tanker ship reminds me of some of the more industrial ships from battlestar galactica

Kinda feels weird the closing of the wing, did you try to make them alling horizontally along the cockpit?

That tri-fighter looks fantastic
Are you swapping style with the new models youre working on? The first few models in this thread were semi-realistic while this new one feels much more stylized.
