Hello everyone, working on this last 1.5 year, in free time. Soon ( i hope so )) i'll end the model, than i'll do some texturing in Subs painter and many renders. Also wanted to make pilot inside the cabin ( with mech controls, monitors etc )
gfelton is right, though i still like it and it has potential to become a very good piece. His right arm needs some serious work, and you could probably try to make it less boxy.
I don´t mind the "boxiness"! However I agree on the proportion of the right arm with the two colleges above me Right now I get the feeling your mech is one of those early type ones that our civilisation could build in near future, with lots of material to provide stability and protection. The right arm and to some extend the connection part on the left as well, feel like they can´t take much pressure before breaking.
Many thx for the feedback guys, the design of this mech is kind an "oldschool" i wanted to make him this way, but I will try to consider your comments and improve This guy, thx again!
It's looking good so far, but stop and spend a day or two in a region before tackling the whole shape. I want to see more time spent around the thruster area!
Hey man, thats look great, I imagine it'll be a hearty challenge to texture it when its all done.
Thx dude, i know, but to say the truth i cant wait to start the texturing - im so bored with modelling) Also! All details got the UVWs! I forgot to say that. Thats why modelling going so slow. The main goal in texturing will be ( for me ) - making some special materials in substance painter or designer for this piece. I will textuire this part by part - foots -> legs -> ass -> body->etc etc
in 3-5 days i will make a decision about materials and colours, this is test 02 ( i making so many tests, because this is my second work with textures in Substance painter )
