[Riot Art Contest] Lucien - wild blue yonder -

Decided to do an alt skin for Lucian, one themed in a fantasy wild west. Here's a sketch of the front of the outfit.. hopefully going to work on a back view today. Started this a little late so I'm not sure I'll finish but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Little update, back view of the outfit. The holsters are on his back between his shoulder blades and blend into the jacket like pockets (trimmed with the darker black). Also included the 'sheriffs' badge idea, a white crystal purifying the dark metal.

Looking pretty sweet, I think what Chewie is talking about are the tail coats. I personally don't mind them being that long, but I'd play with the idea of Cowboy chaps (the things they have attached to their legs when riding) or something like that. I also can't wait to see the design for his guns, since weapons are a big part of the character in League as well

You can do it! Just plan accordingly with the Wedding and you'll be fine

Powerful and interesting design - the colour scheme with the hints of bright blue works beautifully. I particularly like how the inside of the cape make his legs, body and head stand out.

First rough thumbs for the pose / composition. The first one would be in saloon shoot out, the middle one would be falling from hang-man gallows, and the third would be fighting undead gunslingers on a boot hill.

I love his design! And all the thumbs look so dynamic, and just, wow!
I'm leaning more towards the first thumb, the perspective works very nicely, and his cape creates a nice sense of movement. Although, I also quite like the hang-man gallows concept of the 2nd thumb.

first pose looks more dynamic if i were you i give a shot that one also your work is impressive ,in my opinion (for your last update of work) shoulders can be little bit wider
also hands from back looks pretty fine but on front not that good,the thing is hands from back look seems they're back of the capes rear but the front shot something not fit i think its the capes rear should be more close the legs or should be more covering legs this is just a opinion of course your work is stunnning dude

Awesome pose!! Looking kickass so far. The twist of the upper body in relation to the hips feels too unnatural though. I would suggest taking some reference picture of a person doing the same pose to get a better feel of how the shoulders relate to the hips.

I'll try tweaking some of the anatomy on him during the week, but references were used. I can see that his arm and shoulder closest to the camera is probably too far foreward for that hip / shoulder twist. Thanks for the crit!
