I'm developing a series of near-future guns. I'll be posting all the progress on them here in this thread for ease and simplicity.
I designed the concept myself with two mag versions, first being the extended mag.
Any crits would be greatly appreciated. I should note that I will do a once-over for proper edge thickness as I do the LP, so if you want to point out some edges that are too tight, please be specific.

maybe the front grip could be more rounded to make it feel different from the body.
Played with dDo a bit, rapid-prototyping and such. In the end, I used it to only build an organized psd with masked-off material groups and base colors. The detailing is nice, but I’ll want to do that myself for this project.
I kinda like the white in the gun also the green one

@Bonkahe - animated gifs can change the context of a statement in a second, lol. Creepy.
@megalmn2000 - Thanks, man!
The gun will be (standard) tan, with white accents. As I mentioned above, we're kicking around the idea of allowing multiple skins. Updates soon.
@Computron - Indeed. That was a mistake I'm really stewing about. Thing is, the gun is already rigged and being animated. Client is happy with it as-is, so I don't want to backtrack that much. I'll have to take it as a lesson and be sure to be less careless next time
This. with the bolt action part of 2.
Currently there are a lot of gun manufacturers experimenting with marksman rifles following the bullpup concept aswell(SIGSAUER for example)
imo number 2 has the best overall silhouette,number 3 has a issue with the buttstock,since most marksman are prone when they use the weapon,it would either clip the floor or bust your ribs on recoil.
@St.Sabath - Thanks for the excellent feedback I have word on the direction we are going to take. I am going to implement a floating barrel like you suggested, and that buttstock was cut. You made a great point. I'll keep prone in mind when concepting.

I created a pistol for a game named Final Rush, which has a playable demo HERE. The concept was designed by James Gammell. My focus on this project was time management, optimization, and speed.
Total development time: Approximately 93 hours
Feedback welcome
The concept just dosnt really make sense. The concept has an acoq or whatever sight aswell, something completely silly on such a weapon. Also the bullets are very tiny for those oversized barrels, you could put 4 of them in one. And that mag would burn away in 6 seconds.
