i've had 5 stars from only ~170 votes, that was about 97% positive i think. had a 90ish% upvote hit 5 stars at around 300 i'm assuming there's a minimum total number of votes you need to hit 5 stars, and then you need a really high upvote percentage as well and as you get more votes the threshold is more generous
Does anyone know how you actually get a 5 star rating? I have an item with 30 favourites, 226 ratings which are 92% positive. It still only has 4 stars which doesn't make sense to me as there is items on the workshop with 5 stars that have less overall ratings and favourites. I'd love to know if anyone has worked out…
Hey guys, just to have a little bit more of information, not trying to create a debate about it. I did an item just for fun and to see what happens, right now it has 4 stars but more ratings than other assets I saw that have already 5 stars (I think its beacause someone rated me bad). So my question is, is there any…
Hmmm, maybe we just can't edit them? I thought they were used in the engine, for example take a look at the Lycan ultimate and move him around on the importer, his tail and neck fur seem to have jiggle bones on them. There are items ingame that have 4 stars on the workshop. I have never seen any with 3 stars though.

When my Chaos Knight helm got in the International Chest it was at 5 stars then everyone hated it and down voted it back to…
nice one very creative ! but axe? come on thats some kind of morning star?! is that possible on every character?! that jiggle ? i would love to add some hanging stuff to my crap :D
Thanks Star. I didn't realize that. I spent waaaay too long trying to understand the compilation process. It would still be good to understand how it works, but I'm glad we can preview through the Workshop.
Hey all, So I've noticed a huge bug on my items (at least one of them). My positive votes have reverted back to an earlier number and have reduced my star rating on my dagger for slark: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=154830012 Here is a screen shot of the view stats: (removed) Now this is the same…
You can check your feed and compare it to the number of total votes. On your feed it should say "X amount of people liked this", where as on your submitting it'll say a certain number of stars with Y amount of votes. Just X/Y
