Starting on the lowpoly now after I fixed the sleeves a bit (not worthy of an update) Put some further thought into it, and I am going to do the insignia normals in photoshop, much easier, and faster, too :P
Oh by the way, someone over at game-artist requested that I do a tutorial of sorts describing how I do the lowpoly version. If anyone here is interested, I could pop a link to it in this thread when it is done..
Looking good. I have to ask, though - is there any reason why you've gone so low-poly with the mesh? Two segments at the elbow will make for terrible deformation when he bends his arm, his elbow will get all sharp... same with the knee and shoulder there really. Are you planning to animate him? He definitely needs some…
