ya, Rig is used as character RIGging; Creating handle for joints that are used for animation is called "Rig" Mod CPUs / Modified CPUs are the words you are looking for. EDIT: Voted. :)

None of these rigs strike me as being particularly exciting. They're all just sterile bunches of wires and circuit boards inside metal boxes. The creativity goes about as far as throwing in some coloured lights. If you're going to wow me you're going to need to glue the components to the wall or cram them into a Castle…
