hey, I like your portrait so far! No doubt that's Benedict Cumberbatch. But right now the skin feels really translucent to me. The shadows could be a little harder/sharper (especially around the lips) and maybe a bit darker. other than that its coming along great.
Fuckn'l man! loved that painting! Real nice mixture of wildstyle-ish and portrait! Do you have more canvases? Would be awesome to see more! And yeah, you should consider making prints of stuff like the painting! Looking forward to seeing the finished model! :D
i fixed the circled problems, just needed a goodnights sleep to clear my head lol. and im now using ref pics of myself. kinda like a self portrait model. i dont think it looks anything like me yet but that could be because it's not textured.
This is a pretty great challenge you are doing, and I can definitely see improvements. Hope you make it to day 30! I guess the only "critique/nitpick" i have is the ears might be a little bit too thin in a lot of the portraits, but overall these are good for 1 hour sculpts (definitely better than what I can do :p )
Oh now this I like. It's a game about mindless hatred, and it portrays it exactly like that, mindless and filled with hate. The devs seem pretty aware of what they are doing, portraying something pretty common (violence in a videogame) in a very uncomfortable way, which I like. Makes you think I guess. other recent games…

I kind of like it. I'm not sure about that mayan feel it has, and the way you do so there are more feathers/leafs at the top of the head. Even though it would look better in portrait view, it would look worse in ingame view, since it is wierd that the same type of leaf/feathers is suddenly half the size as it is in the…
@ DerRazputin : Thanks. the hood at this stage is kind of going to be suspended above her head by spider leg things..... I think. the eyes are just sculpted spheres.... Grassetti style.....https://grassetti.wordpress.com/2015/01/18/portrait/#jp-carousel-4791 Quick lunchtime idea paintover... now to try and do it in ZBrush…
Be careful not to put the mouths too low or lower the chin. Body proportions needs more practice. You're hiding it behind nice rendering. The new portrait is definitely a step up. Neck should be more in shade as it's further back in the hood. I recommend experimenting more with stronger cast shadows. It's a powerful tool…
i like the portrait. you have placed down values with a hard edged brush which is good. but choose areas to soften with a sof edge brush, to add interest . to work on your penmanship, think about line thickness relating to the distance of objects. closest being the thickest line. keep at it, 2d skillz is a life long…
