Never even considered games. Fell into it by chance. CG company I was working at started making games. Boom, I got hooked. 25 years later... now using those skills elsewhere, much less instability, much nicer live/work balance.
I just got 25 applications on my desk right now and ... ... 9 used ArtStation ... 7 used their own domain and hosting ... 6 attached files directly to the mail which is Mehh...! Dont do this! ... 2 had no portfolio at all ... 1 used carbonmade
I think it has to do with light bleeding at such thin meshes in UE4, so you would want to have a wall at least 2cm thick if i recal from epic games' live training minute 25:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qu3NfoXNZG4
hahah WOW. Sorry... My screen at home must be totally up the shit. desaturated my paintover by about 25 and removed just a bit of the redness....THIS is more like I was thinking. Sorry :poly142: I am keen to see more she looks great.
This is at level 25, attack speed plays the animations much faster, but things are moving along, animations work perfectly* in game. Although the animations themselves are merely blocked out. What you're looking at is three new attack animations, the double strike is really really rough.
Dunno if it helps nor what you are using but exporting from max I have had a whole range of issues in the past a lot like yours and what fixes them is exporting in .SBM format and using the ray distance calculator for about 15-25 seconds
I played an earlier version of the same mod back in '09. It ran at about 25-35 fps on my Asus laptop which has GeForce GTX 260M and 4 gigs of RAM. Even without the mod, the performance was the same so I was pretty happy with that. =]
I'm also a lucky one to get this script for $25. Its working very nicely! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QQhmneqnBq4 Are you thinking to add more blend meshes in the future? Architect, body parts, decoration etc. would be useful as well, not just mech!
The videos show the best works I think, esp the Crater shooter game. Looks like fun! The img of dog, rifle, elf, are nice but I'd be nice to see wires, UV and texture at like 25% or 50%, just to see how you pulled it off.
