Personal recommendation: If 3D work is going to be the majority of your time and you don't want to blow the bank on video cards, go with Nvidia. I'd suggest GTX 260. If you have a huge ass display or money, maybe a 285. If gaming is more your cup of tea then go with a Radeon 5770. Maybe a 5850 if you have a big… -

Not all the professionals here work in videogames... and less doing maps ¬¬ Perfomance is not a problem if you have the newest quadro, but as you said, a quadro is not a big deal. I have the HP envy which I find quite nice - its an i7 720 quad core with 6 gigs of ram and a dx11 ati gfx card - I think its the 5850 radeon - it didnt cost a fortune either... Also it doesnt look like garbage like most other pc laptops :P -

Ok, thanks for the replies guys. I was able to eliminate one of the N-gons on the arm by adding another edge loop. I did so becuase the upper arm is supposed to be a bit wide. I eliminated aswell several edges around the model freeing up lots of polys, yay! Im working symmetrical on the arms and now on the legs. The torso…
