Contrary to my graduating class (2006) in which all of my class mates got jobs in the industry. If you're good enough don't worry. If you're not good enough then practice, practice, practice. -

Alec to just ping on what hes talking about your obviously in your drawings worried about "the character" hince why your drawing armor and such But its obvious your still novice at drawing your form. Practice the form practice block men/ women get down forms before you do details… -

Practice, practice, practice! Use a larger brush than you think you should. I know myself and a lot of people I see starting out use real tiny brushes. Work large to medium to small! -

Re: Where to start learn about drawing
Go find books by Andrew Loomis, Burne Hogarth, Glenn Vilppu (Whom you already know about) or George Bridgman and practice, practice, practice. Some of the books can be incredibly cheap, and others not so much.
