thank you guys for helping me , had the same problem, freezes for 10 sec when working in uwv mapping. Convert to editable mesh then switch back to poly solves this annoying bug. Wasted some time till i figured it out with your help -

Guys, thanks a lot for the feedback! Somehow substance painter 2 doesn't like it when I work in 4k... with lots of layers. The thing could take up to 1-2 mins after any small change... usually within 30 secs, though. But anyhow... -

alright I worked with the armor some today and I damaged it pretty good. I need to make the feet bigger, that was one thing I noticed. I'm going to be getting into retopo soon, I just hope zbrush doesn't crash every 10 sec :/ . -

Wow, thanks for the paintover, Sec! Really appreciate it. And yeah, the whole thing felt kinda sterile as it stood, and I guess I'm so new at this that I'm trying to 'play it safe' and it's giving me bland, inaccurate and generally crappy results, so thanks again, man. -

What about a game format like Valve's SMD? Both apps have importers/exporters for it. Just be careful about naming conventions in max, since maya doesn't like spaces in names, or simple numbered bones (not that you'd just be numbering them, but just in case). -

I enjoyed COD2 over COD1... the added 'realism' in the way the damage was delt slowed the game down and it felt more real. Close range combat, IRL, with SMG's and the like would almost mean certain death. Just don't get in close-range combat -

INTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS run the script, through maxscript -> run script... -> select the script under customize -> customize user interface -> toolbars -> category "FMC" -> there should be a macroscript there :) now drag that macroscript to any toolbar that you wish the button to run the script to be :) -

Thanks for the reply, MrFrags. Decided to redo the materials and render using the scaline renderer following the video faking GI by placing bounce light around the scene. Still need to add more lights..Fixing the materials for the books.Render time 20 secs. -
