Actually it was a work pc, from my Employer, it came with a std 250 w Sparkle, laughs, brand psu and I tried my 300 W Seasonic to no results. Yes and no beep beep on start up, I think she bit the dust. -

I'll be the first to agree the slow motion stuff in 300 was great for absorbing the eye candy... Unfortunately, it was overdone. There's also a small section in this trailer where I'm certain he's at it again... Let's just hope he doesn't ruin this film by constantly doing it. -

my "super" laptop died a few months ago, bit of a shame I can't get it fixed without sending it half way around the world for a 700GBP price tag. It's a dual pentium4 3.2 and would undoubtably kick this macs benchmark into the dust. -

i'd assume they're building the top lod to be suitable for closeups. eg. 2-300% screensize I wouldn't be surprised to see car models in racing games approaching a million triangles by now. that's cheating though cos they don't get skinned -

Hey man! that works great!! Couldn't figure that out by myself, thanks! What about scale then? :3 It appears that the display value on the spinner: 1, 2, 3 corresponded into 100%, 200%, 300% value on the standard tti box..hmmmm.. -

Fixed the knees and finished up with the character (minus the sword and sheath). Will start unwrapping once I got her weapons retopoed, and would be happy to hear any thoughts or suggestions in the meantime. Just made it under 30k with 29885 tris! -

Yes, it is way too high. I'm guessing you just used an auto-topo solution. That boulder could probably be reduced by a factor of 20. As an example, the hero character from Uncharted 4 is only 30k. The cinematic version double that.
