Nice work man, point and click adventures are awesome! They only thing I see that could have made a good difference is a higher res terrain/cave wall texture. But I dig the modeling and lighting overall.
Actually yesterday's news: http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=10999 Black and white film noir style game by Rockstar and Team Bondi! Yay! There's also a few seconds long trailer: http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/adventure/lanoire/media.html
Hey was just wondering, any future DLC for the game on the horizon? EDIT: Nm, just saw this: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Dragon-Age-Inquisition-DLC-Brings-New-Single-Player-Adventures-Inquisition-Options-465579.shtml
Whenever I see something like this, the first thing I think of is... "Literal point-and-click adventure games!?" Seriously though, I'm praying they incorporate this control scheme option into the new 360 version of Secret of Monkey Island.
Right on, the game videos I saw were badass. I loved Butcher Bay, it was a unique FPS with lots of fun adventure and role playing elements, truly one of the few really well done movie tie-in games.

Haha. I would certainly like to spend an extended period of time on other planetary bodies, just to experience it. I like travel so the idea of leaving this rock we're on altogether seems like a very fun adventure.
I'm with Mop, I vote 'Nyes'. has potential and they say its going to be very different from doom, but I'm yet to be convinced. To be quite honest though I'd rather see a return of our favourite slipgate adventurer.
non fiction that makes you think? anything by Ray Kurzweil. The Selfish Gene by Dawkins. Any of the 'Connections' books by James Burke....those connections books are like 'Choose your own adventures'....only with information, invention and history!
you've got a pretty good list as it is... Fallout 1, 2. X-Com. X-Wing and Tie Fighter, the best space sims then or really now... in adventure there'd be the Space Quest games, Sam and Max, and Full Throttle.
