looks awesome, the only thing i would change would be to add some curvature to the pintle mounted gun shield. It reads very flat and realstic when against the rest of your very cute styilisation. just my opinion.

@Blaisoid, thanks for the advice and yeah was gunna replace the older images soon anyway :) @mask_salesman, thank's for the advice, and leather coated shields aren't that rare @Sn1pe, yeah they have come back though I wrote that quite a while back
Is some of the stuff in your folio a little outdated? The hand painted shield stands leagues ahead of your other stuff in quality. I'd do a bunch more hand painted things, maybe a little scene or a pack of other weapons.
I'm slowly continue working on my steampunk workshop, and while there is nothing significant to show yet (I've been doing mostly UV mapping, figuring out things), I did a small shield this morning for my 'shop' at 3DOcean.
those \\\\ things go all the way threw just so you know... For yours just cut the blue out drop in a shadow and wear it down around them. Also add some blast scorch marks on the blast shield.
I like the design it kind of reminds me of "The Fifth Element" but the specular on the wind-shield is really dull, it makes it looks like clay over all, What sort of art style are you aiming for?
Serpentine Mana Bow for Medusa The inspiration comes from Leviathan/Sea Serpent which fits well with Medusa origin, which is a Sea Goddess. Additionally, I put a Circular Guard at the center of the bow, which resembles her Mana Shield.
I am hesitant to watch any videos for this, Im going off watching trailers etc. The FPS animation seem very static though, and they are placed weird in the screen, which badly silhouettes. Can you take enemies as human shields?
Looks great the only thing i can really say as far as crits go is the shield looks a little blured, does it have a small place on the uv or something? Could we see a close up of the face and some texture flats?
