Quick Bump - Confirmed for ATi and Nvidia that setting to App Controled will fix the issue. Also, in the case of Nvidia at least, make sure you have 'Single Display Performance' enabled. Cheers FlynT!
I can confirm, this DVD is great. While it's not ground-breaking and mold melting as the first one, it pretty much shows the great uses of R2. EDIT: Seems like Andy beat me to it.
Yeah, it's Sherlock Holmes. The quote was in the trailer as well, so I figured I would go quickly. Seeing that quote in the trailer alone confirmed that I'd enjoy the movie. You're up, Jackablade.
You said you're on a laptop? Does it have a nvidia graphics card? And can you confirm that photoshop is set to use that GPU on launch? It might be that it is using the intel graphics card on launch instead.
wasn't it confirmed that it's not the real voice actor for that part? pretty sure someone said it's placeholder from someone that works at valve until they get the actual lines recorded. either way, I dig
Can anyone confirm the improvements on the pressure sensitivity? Jumping from the graphire's 512 pressure levels to the intuos made a whole lotta difference, especially for someone who likes to do light strokes.
hah, i had forgotten about your tip, researched it myself, wanted to come back here victoriously and post the solution.... self-ninja'd. thanks again, i can now confirm that it's working exactly as planned ;)
There's no way ATM to create a curvature map that works with DDO and smart material .Teddy did confirm the problem and that a fix is on the way. I'd still be interested in viewing what's best setting in xnormal to create good curvature map.
Just to confirm, I had a lot of wonky errors as well. Everything was exporting fine, but this one model was giving me a headache. I just unlocked normal's, and then reapplied smoothing groups in maya. After that it exported fine.
Eric, thanks for the effort you put in answering these topics. And please don't take this the wrong way - but: are you serious? confirming issues towards some people and telling others the opposite... I think this must be a misunderstanding, right?
