In no way was that a 'flame'. I was asking him a simple question. I'd like this to stop just as much as everyone else. When I asked about pushing buttons, I meant get on peoples nerves.. not push the keys on a keyboard. (Incase that was misunderstood).
To do: 1. sharpen/push anatomy 2. sharpen/push details 3. incorporate more interesting elements. (more details, plugs, wire, to goggles? Maybe something else interesting to look at on his noggin? Mohawk? lol)
The edge outline effect can be achieved by duplicating the mesh, invert its normal, push it out a little( the further you push the thicker the line is going to get), and apply an unlit diffusion material to it. Or at least that is the trick with Toolbag.
In Max is there a way to shrink wrap an object around another (ie using scale or push modifier)? Modo has the Background Constraint tool, which allows the scale tool to be used to constrain one mesh to another. In Max, is the only option to go around pushing it on bit by bit with the conform brush, and then cleaning up?
According to that video Alberto posted.. The Federal Reserve is pushing really hard for the cops to use military tactics. Maybe they are pushing the protesters on purpose so they snap and lose credibility to the public eye? As long as OWS stays peaceful they will have more support by the public.
Got a little feedback about pushing the high poly so spent some time today adding more detail. I tried to push it a bit more so that I don't lose too much when I add SSS. No big proportion changes except for making the back legs a little thicker
I've been working through substance painter at the moment as I am hoping to use it for painting some terrain, the tools and masking seem like something that could work very well for the project I'm working on but of course there are lots of questions flapping around in my head and though it would be better to post a few in…
Hard to tell what's wrong based on that one image. Make sure you have a mesh with collision beneath the player and there is no other collision pushing the player through the ground on start. Test-play in a fresh template scene to check whether the issue is related to your level.
I really want to push my self this year. Too much have I been my own handicap. Everything else like getting a job will fall into place once I really start pushing myself as a artist
Awesome, I really hope you're going to model and animate them, and push this prototype further, while it is similar to alien swarm, I feel, as an arcady SP focused game it starts to stand on it's own, but it can always be pushed further.
