Just strictly looking at your portfolio, you've got a precarious situation going on. With the two faces and clothing set you've rendered, it looks pretty solid but not QUITE done for a junior artist. Hey, thanks for the replies guys! I'm really glad you like it. I guess you guys are right about the colors. I was a little hesitant about using bold colors for the character. I tried some different shades on the shell but it soon made it feel very busy, so I guess I took the easy way out and just made everything brown… -

It all really depends on the level of promotion you're aiming for. If its a recruitment form, basic announcement, or news update I'd suggest Gamedev.net, deviantArt, 1up, ConceptArt.org, and, of course, polycount.
