Can't go wrong with Shephard's Pie, I cook it all the time! You can do all kinds of crazy stuff with it if you want to get adventurous, just throw whatever in the ground beef. -

If you're young and can still manage to be adventurous, go for awesome project. One day you'll have a family, and babies. I can only choose my job based on security and salary these days. -

There might be script support for those, or in the SDK if you're adventurous. Better to work out scale issues before starting a project, but yeah I've been in your boat too before, only it wasn't Maya. -

It seems a lot of the most successful kickstarters tend to be either sequels to cult classics, or spiritual successors to cult classics. . . Heck even just hyper Niche Genres tend to get funded. ie: Adventure games.
