Check out the profiles of heads and skulls and note the depth of the eye socket (Orbit). Broadly speaking, the skull shape is lacking. In your next wip post, if you could post imgs without hair as well. I'd be happy to comment n crit
Hi Van you are quite right about that. But my intention their was to try and make some of the most recognizable traits of the original character as visible as possible. hence the odd shape of the skull. I will try to make more sense of the anatomy of the skull though. thanks
His skull feels very low and flat, I think it would help him if you gave his skull more structure and more surface going upwards. It gets really noticeable in your latest picture where his hairline is almost straight.
There's no length of time. I've modelled a skull. It took a while, I studied references hard and emulated them as best I could. If I wanted to do another skull I'd have to study references again. Its an ongoing thing thats never finished.
feel like re-design my previous lina set's hair.... also dilemma should i remove my Spade's Wraith king 's skull design or change it into something not-so-direct skull design?? not really sure the china low violence policy got affect on workshop or not.
Again Some Updates and changes :D Colours are a little bit more sttled also the skulls came in :D still working on the effekt from the Skulls but I thought thirst I share this and call it done for today since I have some other work to da as well. v.v
Ah so it is a 3d model just a REALLY high resolution scan, that's pretty awesome being able to change the lighting to pull out details is a big plus too. EDIT: OOOOOOOOH skull sketcher seems cool and you can download it! :D http://www.anatomy360.info/skull-sketcher/
Looking great guys. I love the Warhammer world, and you're doing a great job in staying true to it. I also want to complement you guys on the skulls you guys made. Warhammer has a very specific style to their skulls, and you have captured it perfectly.
Oops, extruded vertices on my skull in progress. I used box modeling to create the basic shape and I've started sculpting it. I am going to do some edge modeling next to fit in the eye and nose holes on this skull. His new hair is very metal.
Hey, I've just started learning the anatomy a few days a go. Starting with the skull. I just came across this site a few minutes a go; still downloading. Looks amazing :D http://www.anatomy360.info/skull-sketcher/ Love knowing the anatomical terminology xD
