Well, whatever it is, it would need to be something that everyone can do. So... no genres. No steampunk, no fighting games, no fantasy, no cooking shows, and definitely no "deadly ninja pirate tyrannosaur F-14 pilots". So... let's get crackng!
Makes complete sense! However, I duplicated the main camera and parented (is that how you make a child camera?) it under the main, and followed the rest of your instructions, but no dice. No doubt a case of pilot error somewhere on my part.
Definitely has your immaculate style all over it Tim. The oxygen mask does tend to suggest pilot yeah, and probably doesn't quite gel with the rest of him, so Id be inclined to go one way or the other.
Hay guys, im new here, I've recently been learning 3ds max over Maya for the past 3 months or so, I highly prefer the ease of modelling that this program provides, but not so much the UV Mapping, i tend to throw my models into Maya just to UV Map it and then go from there. I have a few questions that having been playing…
Yeah, I have to say I'd much rather be playing D&D. With my plot flowcharts. With my plot flowcharts inside my plot flowcharts. Honestly though, the problem with football anymore is that there isn't enough football to it. Too much commentary, too many replays and flashy transfer sequences. That's why I like rugby, honestly.
More concepting I didn't post earlier. Ended up going with the pilot jacket (first one). The others looked to space-marine-ey and Mass Effect-ish and didn't fit the character. Progress on the high poly:
I think a single thread for all of us will be nice. Errr.... anyone knows if it's ok to make a Wraith Pilot ? Instead of, you know, the Wraith spaceship itself. Or, you know, a Battlecruiser Commander instead of the ship itself ?
The guy driving the 3rd car in the car accident was Locke. They just haven't told you about the third car yet. Oh, and the plane was being co-piloted by Oprah Winfrey when it crashed. Coincidence? I think not!
Wow, this is some epic stuff. My favorite is the Matrix exos. You did an awesome job with giving a sense of the scale and power of those things, and it really looks like it's being piloted by a human the way it reacts to everything.
Some markings wouldn't hurt. I don't know the purpose of this plane, but giant logos on the wings might add some contrast, and some minor detailing, like, for example, the pilot's name near the cockpit, are needed as well.
