You guys convinced me that wide is good, I was a bit reluctant at first going with wide but now I'm going to try. At this time the 22" wides are priced about the same as 20" wide, but the 22" have these nasty TN-panels I'm absolutely allergic to, so I guess I'll just have to wait a bit. -

The .223 is just a scaled up .222 bullet, same class as a .22 LR. Yes, quite a difference in cartridge length, but same class of caliber. the bolt appears to have two bolt faces, like a xenomorph mouth. 22's generally dont need any locking lugs at all let alone the 8 or whatever the ar15 type has. there's also an extractor appearing visually on the side where it normally would be on a ruger 22 - there'd be no problem just deleting the ar15 bolt face and… -
