Yeah... you aren't the majority. I can link a ton of posts saying it isn't real-time, or posts saying that the memory requirements would be so large that we couldn't even hope to do this in 8 years. Your comment about instancing is irrelevant when supposedly one point cloud object with millions of points is supposed to be…
Typical 8 hour day. I normally do the 8-4 or 9-5 (core hours 10-4). Meetings vary. We have a "squad" meeting everyday....which is about 6 of us that work together on the same environment. Company meeting once a week....with beer...MMmmmmMmm. Project meeting once every two weeks. Aaannddd random meetings with design…
Vj_box > acutaly i use 3dsmax for baking normals RTT, all maps i process using 3dsmax (final render for GI and ambient occlusion baking, i get best results with it), normal maps using deffault scanline. Edge padding i use 4-8 (2048 map 8 pixels of padding), placing maps in uv space i leave spaces fort padding, so no seams…
Kind of a wierd thing with me is that when i sleep 8-9 hours, i'm tired as hell when i wake up but when i sleep 7-8 hours i usually feel better in the morning. That said i'm up at 4 so i'm tired anyways. Also, wouldn't surprise me if i have very mild depression, it's a common thing on my moms side. I think it would help…
The reason you want an IPS over a common TN panel is bit depth. You really want a panel that produces 8 bit color, which is 16.7 million colors. TN panels only produce 6 bits, which is 256K colors. TN panels will dither images to simulate certain colors and can have a lot of color banding in gradients. That's not something…
1. Create an 8 sided cylinder 2. Delete everything except the top circle piece 3. Extrude that out into a square 4. Delete the circle 5. Duplicate it as many times as you need, snapping each piece to the side of each other. 6. Weld the verts so all the pieces are attached to each other. 7. Extrude out the sides for the…
Lightmapping covers over the diffuse at a higher level, usually resulting in the shader reverting to the 'fallback'. Essentially you end up with diffuse x (8 x lightmap) meaning your original diffuse in it's 0-1 range, by a lightmap with a range of 0-8. If you want usable maps, you'll need to create the UV2 yourself…
I just would like to correct you in that last year we would get tons of sets accepted per week and other times bi weekly. Along with singles, couriers and wards trickled in between. This year it is mostly 4-8 sets regular sets and 1-5 tournament sets offset by two weeks. With odd ward + courier each month. So your…
Wow, IReally like this concept. Can't wait to see the final result! :D I really like 8 and 12. 8 because it takes me back to that "Spirited Away" vive with all the asian influences, like a dragon dancer, spirit bender (i dunno) I like 12 because in the final splashart you can give such a good dynamic and flow of movement…
