Love how the comments are more about the music rather than the actual feature :D This looks really nice tho, tho I dont think I have enough content yet to make this look really good, but hopefully ill get it down soon enough =3=
Okay, been AAAAGES since I posted up progress on this because of some terrible computer issues I've been having! I've done a little tweaking on the lighting, redone the trees and adding some fog sheets. Will have more updates soon! (Famous last words! :S)
You put in a z77 without a K processor though; pointless. :P (Not that I can talk, I have an i7 3770 in a z77e-ITX, cause I was on a budget.) Also, did you factor a windows licence into that? Aaaaaaaaanyways... waiting to see what Gaben shows us soon.
EEESH! I gotta tweak the darkened eye sockets/eye shadow - she looks like a demonic owl when zoomed out in those shots. @Bar0n Thanks mate! Gonna try and tackle the hair today, so I might drop another update fairly soon.
I love it. Great for organic low to mid poly work. What it lacks in frills it makes up for in speed and simplicity. Get the demo check it out on your system as it can be a little crashy, but as Cheese says you soon learn what operations to avoid (or save before) performing.
Thanks for the feedback! I agree, he's too slender and toned. Probably needs more bulkiness overall.. I'll get to that as soon as I'm more or less done with his apparel. :) You must've missed the link to my refs. I'll just post them right here.. :P
Yes, 8 gigs is just not enough these days. I've 32gigs and am going to double it soon as it'sjust not enough. :) plus, it's dirt cheap. I always allow for future-proofing when I put a new rig together knowing I'll need more a ram sooner or later.....
I have been working with both Zbrush and Unreal Engine 4 for about a month now and I have decided to work on a concept piece from the soon to be release Dragon Age: Inquisition. My plan of attack is to use Zbrush to make solid models of the trees, the archway, and the statue.
You should check out things like Jeff Parrott's Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/artofjeffp?ty=h Leslie Van Den Broeck also did a mentorship thing a while ago, though I'm not sure if he's going to be doing another one any time soon.
Yea, you are right about folds and cloth, I don't know how they works and didn't even used references. Now I'm focusing on anatomy and faces, but soon i begin with clothing and maybe more armor staff, because it's more fun. Your tutorial is very helpfull.
