I believe they can accelerate multiple windows and in fact multiple windows on multiple monitors. Quadro cards are geared towards rendering 3D. A number of animation houses use them to render 3d movies. I have never had the chance to play with one but I have heard that they are not great for gaming. Your best bet is to…
[ QUOTE ] I'd be inclined to disagree with that paragraph for the most part. Whilst some PC developers might design for the lowest common denominator, many dont. Many PC games that are released require an absolute behemoth of the latest system to run comfortably, and in turn actually help drive graphics card and other…
I would say a good lead is able the last line of sanity for the art folk. Go to battle for your people. Have a 150% understanding of the tech and pipeline. Maintain the AD's vision of the game and convey that to the rest of the guys. Basically what everyone else has been saying.
This is mainly just showing that they can photosource well. Shame the screenshots are so tiny too, doesn't really show much other than the general composition and colours are the same as the reference. Their real-time vehicle shader demo was more impressive to me. Malcolm: I believe they're still doing their "dynamic"…

Additionally he found out that bumpmaps aren't only compressed, they get downsampled to 256x256. You need to set CVars to prevent that from happening. Apparently Raven has a different…

You can probably cut it down to 50 frames without really impacting anything, set the frame rate to like 15fps or something, so it'll take 3-4 seconds to spin around. Also it's worth playing around with the compression quality, I got a 40-frame…
