Managed to find this fan-made model on Sketchfab of Robotnik and the EggOmatic from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Also found a couple more official models that should help - the EggOMatic/Egg Mobile from Sonic Unleashed and the Death Egg Guard from Sonic Forces. Did a small breakdown of the few Egg Mobiles I've…
I think the major point in the original article is that the target audience in the mobile market is not used to pixel art aesthetics. They expect smooth graphics in their app store games. If Dinofarm is to develop mobile games, they will drop the pixel art in favour of the aesthetics that the target audience is more…
I highly doubt its the future of gaming. I don't know about you guys but i'd rather use mobile devices when im mobile and consoles and pc's when I am home. Not only that but I prefer a controller, keyboard, and mouse instead of touch screens.

This is because the editor can now simulate what rendering will look like on a mobile device - iOS devices use a different renderer and hence the lighting comes out looking very different to that on PC. You can toggle this feature with the "Emulate Mobile Features" button: http://www.udk.com/news-beta-jun2011.html
