Yes! Rockets, scientists, and witch doctors all came together to create the ultimate arcade stick. Unfortunatly their research came to an ubrupt end when some guy who claimed to be from a 'vault 101' decided to hit one of the rockets with a hammer.
Hey Guys, Thanks for the good feedback. Unfortunately, I had to take down some of the images off my site for legal reasons. So now I really gotta get hammering on some personal work to fill in the blanks now.
Anyone remember the Bloody Mess perk in fallout 1 & 2? It basically made all the deaths way more gruesome. Pistol kill = exploded torso. Dead Rising has good deaths too, sledge hammer and samurai sword are good.
alright here's an update. not completely happy with the result but tired of hammering on this one. tried to match the lighting with the concept but kept getting inconsistency with the rest of the scene. anyway i''m trying to wrap it up so feedback is welcomed as always. thanks. [vv]86631970[/vv]
I hate twilight so much, and true blood. what was once the coolest and scariest from hammer horror destroyed by pop culture. Interview with the vampire I thought was awesome and 30 days of night I loved until josh hartnett went superhero.
EQ: You're getting so good at hammering out the laws of normalmapping on every corner of this forum, pretty soon I think you guys should consider just compiling ten commandments and making them the front page (booming recorded voice optional)
I would start with a blockout. Don't trash what you have just drop it into a new layer, and hammer out a rough form. It'll make you see what will be the hardest, and give you a good sense of the proportions. Looking forward to seeing this completed.
Haven't gotten around to episode 3 yet but here is a new educational video on the Grid in Max as it relates to Source: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HW1hMq3wltU[/ame] More info and another video from Autodesk to help Hammer users here: On the Grid.
One small step for me, a giant one for my project :) So yeah. This is what I was working on (it's the hammer part of the gun). by the way, I'm proud to mention that this image was approved by Borat himself! Nice :) peace ps.: normal+bump offset, rendered in UDK
Looks pretty good so far. Very promising! I would add more geo to the hammer; it's going to be seen up close and you don't want the illusion to break because you missed adding a couple of loops here. Looking forward to textures.
