Hi, this is a WIP of a courtyard based on Accademia di Brera in Milano. I am not trying to replicate the courtyard. I am just using it as an inspiration. Any comments are welcome. Thank you! :) Software: Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Crazybump and UDK.
I click on symmetric pattern on one sleeve and mirrored copy doesn't attached to the rest of the body-covering part. I'm trying to replicate all steps on youtube guide, but in the video this problem doesn't exist https://youtu.be/Dr90IaHSA54?t=62
I replicated that quad sphere in maya using two subdivisions on a cube, but I think the final object has too many faces. Would the first subdivision work for something like this?
Very thankful for your offer to help. I found a few tutorials that explain how to create car shaders in another game engine. I'll attempt to replicate the said tutorials in Unity.
@7bajwa I dont like highly automated things, the moment they stop to develop some tools you find yourself without the knowledge to replicate the same results without such tools. =p
also Polycount! If a game shows some new technique, people figure it out. I've never played the Uncharted games but I know how to replicate their material blending thanks to Polycount.
Ah... and I've totally spent a couple of hours in zBrush already. Ha. Okay, well, I'll finish this off and see if I can replicate it using Photoshop and a normal program later on.
Morning warm up painting , I tried to replicate the oil painting look , i think i kinda got it right XD C&C , feedbacks , comments are much appreciated! :)
These are rad! What do you mean by mixture of digital and traditional? I'm noticing some banding that looks like 3d printing artifacts...are you actually printing these or are you replicating that look?
Day 1 progress, started mainly going for the 3rd reference. The wood that Daniel made is just soo nice, really a challenge to try to replicate that, but I'm happy where I got with it
