I usually put a mask in my alpha channel for masks, but as far as the sculpting goes. I usually just beat down the edges with trim dynamic and use alphas to get the details I need then bake. Nothing too crazy.
I've gotten that error when the hard drive isn't working. Usually if I open up the case and make sure all the power plugs and IDE ribbons are secure that usually solves it. Nothin like the ol "jiggle the cable" fix!
seforin, thats usually the downside with most hdtv's, they're usually made for watching movies or such on, playing games secondary, so inputlag is almost always something you have to live with. it can vary and be quite horribly high on many tv's

I've been using Gigapixel AI for 3 years, I just grew dissatisfied with it after a year or 2 and wanted to make textures that weren't obviously upscaled. Upscaled textures have a very distinct dead giveaway, they always look crusty and waxy.

Having some weird trouble baking out the normal map for the gun. I'm doing what I usually do, which usually works, but I get weird seams. Updated the materials on the character model to get closer to the cleaner look of the game.
Why no external zip them to Mediafire or such? I usually like to avoid direct download from sites which are 'free' like yours due to knowing the pain of bandwidth, so I usually end up trying to download from somewhere else.
