Not sure what size to go with. Embed display size is about 900 pixels wide. Lightbox is screen width. The larger we make it, the slower the downloads become. What max size do you people think is good? 1280? 1600? 1680? 1920?
everyone's pretty much got it. hawken created the original super-iconic design and i helped popularize it by calling it greentooth and doing the banner painting. here's another link to the 1920 version of the "artifact" painting shown above. http://gausswerks.com/war/greentoothartifact_1920.jpg
This is a skin created borrowing inspiration for the 1980's Sci-fi classic, Dune. Please let me know what you think of the simple, dusty design of this CS:GO skin. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=693790940 Thank you, d0ubleJ , Loafsy
Looks cool! Reminds me of @ILYHugh 's comic book shop! https://polycount.com/discussion/209131/ue4-1980s-comic-book-shop#latest I think you could cut down a bit on depth of field.
Still seeking a new 3D art role. Here's my latest completed project: model Modelled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. Concept by Catherine Unger. 1050 tris, 1024x1024 diffuse, unlit.
Aaaaaand I'm done! :) This was a really fun project to work on! Thanks to Catherine Unger for letting me recreate her concept in 3D. 1050 tris, 1024x1024 diffuse, unlit. model Let me know what you think!
Thanks for sorting it out :) It's supposed to be a futuristic space racer based in the year 2064, the styling of the background is trying to convey a sense of speed as well as trying to look like those old grand prix posters from the 1960's
Cool stuff. I could tell by the end that this was done in the 1970s. I got a lot out of the commentary from Jerry Kindall's page, and the comments where everyone second-guesses the production is hilarious. Chariots of the Gods, baby. /jzero
I was listening to Bach, stopped to listen the first song Adam posted, and then went back to the Baroque master. It's an odd experience to contrast them. Music has been going downhill since they started dumbing it down in the 1750's.
