Thank you so much! Im not too sure if I'm allowed to post more of my work though, unless it goes past into 2018 so everything is on sketch book right now!
It is the year 2085. Many plant species have gone extinct but for some reason wet floor signs remain unchanged from their 2018 versions. :p Here's the animated hologram material in action:
Thanks guys. Here is some ice I made this morning, inspired by this: https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/012/277/072/large/michael-vicente-orb-ice.jpg?1533940750
Sorry, but what I had to write, I myself do not know, I just wanted to know how to improve what I do. But here is the real object with which I did. Yamaha PAC-012 BL
Curious if people have smooth workflows for this. Maya makes it a pain. Mental Ray 2018 seems like the best option, but the quality it best is iffy. 3DCoat makes a nice lowpoly AO but then I can't bake to verts. Any suggestions?
If you want AO anyway, you could check out the method described here at the very bottom: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/3ds-max-forum/quick-ambient-occlusion-pass-in-max-2018/td-p/7724645
Adding transitional meshes could finalize the already great look for your gums/teeth: https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/012/926/967/large/vadim-sorici-transitional-meshes-tutorial-teeth01-update.jpg?1537221551
Yep, I've tried doing that. It's at 0.8 right now. I have tried deleting the ambient light, it's the same result without it, I've tried deleting all lights except the point lights and it's still the same result. :poly127:
Yes i read about NightShade but most of the tools are already in Maya 2018 so i'll stick with the default ones. Well i think that i'll put some music on and start fixing some UVs...thanks again
