The face doesn't look feminine to me. I'm not saying that you have to make her into a supermodel, but when I look at that face, I don't really see a girl. The lips seem way too botox duck face. Her clothes could be dirtier, faded, ripped etc. I like the choice of clothing.
Lonewolf....damn , ace paintover...its a lot dirtier than I want to go with the piece but I'm gutted that you managed to make it look so cool so quickly....I've been at this thing for days .....re the green:.....I looked back at that and thought, bloody hell that is a bit bright....I had forgoten to swich a layer back on…
yea, kind of. ;) its definitely the right style but you can refine it a little. it looks a little to small and from the distance of the camera you can't really make out the shape. i completely agree with adding sand to the floor. (do you could probably paint it on in udk, especially if you have a height map for that floor)…
I disagree, I think the legs are the nicest part of this. I think the metal material looks convincing, and the detailed netting on the back of the calf is a nice touch. You could improve this by painting in a LOT more ambient occlusion (which would be a huge boost), desaturating and dirtifying the red cloth, and rethinking…
Thank you Matroskin. I tried making a rainy look with specular but... you see it xD. Maybe it sounds like bad excuses but i started the scene with 0 environment knowledge being only able to model some planes and cubes and unwrap them badly (have some old pics urgs) i tried to fix all my epic fails with all the stuff i…
lol this is freaky, I've been researching steampunk for the last few days for a piece I'm working on. This little fella has popped up like a million times ^^. Like Firebert said tho, functionality is key from what I've been seeing. Or rather, OVER-functionality. Why use 1 cog when 3cogs some wires and a set of pulleys will…
Well it would help if you posted a picture, but you're on the right track with the blue. Look at the highllights on this black bear's fur, you can see that it has a slightly blue tinge to it because it's reflecting the atmosphere. If you want to make the fur look dirtier, just reduce the intensity of the highlights, simply…
Looks great! I think the model and the textures look excellent! Would like to see him abit dirtier (lying in a trench kinda does that to you) but he's ok the way he is.
