Really nice man, Love it :D looks amazing. Only feedback I can give you: I think the windows might gain some by being a little dirtier around the ridges and so, they look kinda clean compared to the wallswith leakings and such running down :) As a whole the mesh might blend more with the grassy environemtn by adding some…
Broken glass. Paper litter. Cans. Disposable needles. Stains. Just general trash if you want it to be dirtier. I also get the feeling this might look more interesting as a night scene, but that's probably because when I think of alleyways in my mind it's always night, because cliches.
Typically, you want to blend the two texture sets in the same material, but yes, you can blend 2 materials with vertex painting pretty easily. You can also use the AO to control blending, which is nice when you want a dirtier material that would collect where AO collects.
My only comment for the latest update is that his skin looks a bit too light and bright. Also, it should be a bit dirtier, maybe in some specific areas. Other than that, good job. I'm a bit fan of your sculpt.
Darken the blood on his claws, and maybe make it go farther up the fingers. Right now, it kinda... looks like he's wearing nail polish. Have the skin darker/dirtier on his toes, especially the closer it gets to the ground. Looks like he just got out of the shower haha, they are way to clean for a barefoot hunter
The roof slates look more like stone tiles you'd find on the ground at the moment (and are cleaned more often) than roof slates. They need to be a bit darker, duller, dirtier, and more obviously overlapping.
Thank you for this. I keep reading it and laughing. As Rick said, it is indeed a Duane Reade, and it's a pharmacy/chemist. All the time I lived in NYC and I never heard it called a Douche Reade, but it's a great name for the place. There are no 7-11s in NYC, and you wouldn't want pancakes from them anyway. Depending on…
the pillar looks fine tbh, maybe a bit more AO in the cracks, also some of the grunge is a bit too heavy for where it's located. Also if you're going for that much wear then maybe have more scuff marks on the base, that's where it would get the dirtiest I'd imagine
Hey everyone, here's the new render: * I've adjusted the color of the wood to a more brown tone * The entrance way glass now goes all the way to the top * Windows are a bit darker * New bricks which have much better definition * Scaled down the house number * Scaled down the letterbox. It's still not looking quite right to…
