Nice, the ground looks really flat for being made out of sand, in the middle of a desert, that has sand storms. Parts of the bases of the buildings should have some piles of sand in front of them. Try to make it look like the buildings are coming out of the same.
Some old skool memories: I remember playing Gradius in Legend of The Mystical Ninja quite a lot. Also, the 'escape from the hospital' bit in It Came From The Desert. Although that game was just a load of minigames put together so that probably doesn't count.

Added the trenchcoat and some other small details, so this is basically every major part of the model visible now. Lots of other small details in the jacket and clothing to add, plus detailing the desert eagle and doing the hair properly.
If its supposed to be still in use but rusty i would add some oil leaks and maybe some water splashes on the side of the ship an on its deck. Looking good overall just a little to dry to still be on water and not in a desert.
Sheperiro__no this is not for game, it just a hobbit piece. thanks for the support New stuffs! Added a base to the scene, trying to be like a disply sand box, and it will be a desert scene. Aimming to finish up the whole thing with in the next two weeks. Enjoy.
Congratulations Virtuosic :) I've learned a lot from looking at the stuff you made (Jungle Ruins, Desert Ruins) and your high-poly sculpts were a great inspiration for me. I only wonder why it took them so long to hire you :p
Not sure what was the reason, but at some point Counter-Strike devs changed names of all weapons in game. New names like KM Sub-Machine Gun for MP5, or Maverick for M4A1, Night Hawk for Desert Eagle It's back to real names now, i think
Thanks for the crits, wierd it's doing that in IE, I checked it in both firefox and IE and didn't see that, I'll see what I can do to fix it. I'll take a second look at the textures and geometry of the desert scene tomorrow and hopefully post an update sometime this weekend.
