That sounds like a Maya settings issue: there must be some options for the resolution and profile / thickness of a curve inside Maya that dictate what the output to geometry looks like. I'm with Pior - they're great for presenting or for navigating around a scene and kinda useless otherwise. I never enjoyed them for actually modelling where I want to be focused around a specific object - cos that's not what you get. There's no reason the device can't do it but the software always seemed to actively work… -

Well same thing happened to mine. Vertical lines usually mean your graphics card is dead or heat sink fan isn't working properly, heating up your graphics card or CPU. My computer has one heat sink that covers the main graphics card (i have SLi) and it also covers the CPU. Alienware replaced my graphics card and heatsink… -
