I've got the frames on the bottom (based on a lamp @ home). Subtle global illumination source, could you give some more detailed information about that because I never used it before. Thanks for your help already :)
Are you rendering some some kind of global ambiance? It's washing everything out! Modeling looks good, but as i say your textures look very bland, maybe because theres this grey overlay all over the place.
I second colleague referrals, I got a lot of really good contacts when I went to my first Game Jam the Global Game Jam and the people I happened to work with loved how I contributed.
smoothing is based on a angle, so 12 to 13 subdivisions must create a small enough of a angle for it to smooth out. got to Normals>Set Normal Angle will set it on the selected shape, or you can set it globally somewhere in the preferences
I always bake out a lightmap as well - it adds no noticible time to the rendering, and its a great base for the textures, and useful as an overlay layer to fake some global illumination. I use a lightdown setup for my lighting information.
lolol, yeah. i think im gonna go for that smasung one. i think this one: http://www.samsung.com/global/business/hdd/productmodel.do?group=72&type=61&subtype=63&model_cd=249&ppmi=1155#
not that i know. Its just a collection of scripts - not something that modifies any existing max files. Does the alt key with the viewport navigation work? Or the shift key when duplicating objects or the global F1 key for the help files?
The only thing i can think of is Global Illumination is turned on, im pretty sure thats whats causing it. I am still new to Unreal lighting. -Buddikaman
Thank you for the comments guys! Is there any way you think I could improve it? share it with me Will be updating it soon, long weekend after Global Game Jam
So some random dude predicts that the world will end and somehow gets nearly global coverage. Who needs to hire a marketing company if that's all you have to do?
