Update: got a low poly modeled. I haven't low poly modeled in a long time, so I'm not sure how I did. Ended up with 13k tris and about 7k verts. It was a slow process since I essentially had to start from scratch. I had trouble getting any workable geo from Fusion. Maybe I'll try and work with my export settings and see if…
And here is a link dump of stuff I've found over the years. http://www.boneclones.com/ http://www.anatomytools.com/ http://www.3d.sk/ http://www.phungdinhdung.org/Studies_paper/Realistic_face_modeling.shtm http://www.hauntedstudios.com/index.php http://bartleby.com/107/ http://evanpenny.com/…
The MV Agusta F3 2012 (it's released 2011) A new italian bike in the 600cc class. Much like the Triumph Daytona 675, this machines engine will be an inline three cylinder engine featuring 675cc. Estimates are around 140 BHP(~120-130 WHP). Weight has not been disclosed but they're aiming for "lightest in it's class" so…
Well, the color is also the power. The bitmap's colors multiply against the default white specular. The darker the color, the less specular you see. So if you put the same bitmap in both channels, your specular is going to be twice as dark. AFAIK specular power can be calibrated quite differently between apps/game engines.…
I'm usually using Linear Light with a fill on 50%, then add a color overlay to it with Linear Burn with a color of 255, 255, 127. Also don't forget to check the "Blend Interior Effects as Group" checkbox in the general layer styles window. This doesn't work EXACTLY accurate, but it does a good job at keeping the blue…

Thanks guys! I make the cracks like this: It's pretty much a FX map like Cells but with the brick shape instead. Then I just do a high pass on it, get rid of the values higher than 127 (they cause artifacts), then a slope blur with a clouds2 to get the worn edges look. You can use a splatter instead of the FX map and it'll…
Just finished Unwrapping this beauty and I finally got a perfectly clean bake. I can see spots where I should've added more tris but that's a lesson for the next project. Now I gotta tidy up this UV's since right now it's just packed with iPackThat for a quick test, and now I gotta puzzle them up properly. This is how the…
Alright, I'll upload the HDRs as well. I'll try to do it tomorrow but I can't make any promises because I'm struggling to upload anything right now. I'm uploading them to my web host atm, which seems to work well. But my internet keeps getting disconnected so it cancels the upload. Probably a broken modem/router but I…
Love the style and proportions on this! Outfit looks great, too, and nice accessory work. :D I'm not sure if the neck needs a bit of thickening up (I guess that's down to personal preference), but it does strike me as a bit tubular, like a head on a straw. I'm no expert on rigging/skinning, but I reckon you just need to…
