Material and Lighting thread in our school's forum, just have Phillip log you in :D I believe their tris count was 500, and I'm sure you can get yours… -

Hah! Your google is not as fast as mine kub. Yeah I have a feeling it'll fall short of what I dream it will be. But if this thing ran a painting program that let me export out layers to Photoshop and was under $500 I'd much rather get this than the new giant iPhone thing. -

I have a script I wrote that sets the active time segment to 100f based on the sliders current position. I have this script bound to a key so its a quick press. Not that the ctrl-alt-MB approach is bad but it can take a little time to scroll it to a desired frame range. macroScript… -

The room I'm working on. Brick walls, wooden furnitures, and tiled floor (in my plan). Conditions are (1)under 5000 tris (too much?) (2)without Normal. And now, It has 7500 Tris...it needs optimization, especially on chairs and windows. By the way, is there any disadvantage in deleting backside of box? I can't decide… -

Thanks man, I'll upload the file. So, how would I use this "scaling up" method you mentioned? I thought the only way to determine the level of detail a UV map could have, was by choosing a resolution in the "render UV map" dialog (as in, it tells the "recieving program" how detailed the model is). So if I understand this… -

Well....the rays were shifted to 500 since before it defined the shadows in the scene the most. The environment map's less than 1024. The raytracing tab's on the first image...I used a lower sampling level. Good call on the alpha though, I wasn't sure what effect it would have on the render. But what I would like to know… -
