It looks very last gen, very blocky and primitive. The handle looks really wide and it looks to be missing some key components? Like a break that allows it to open so you can reload, a second trigger (most double barreled shotguns have two triggers) and depending on what the back of the handle looks like its probably…
Your work is very good, but it's absolutely nothing like Blizzard. Blizzard usually wants to see that you can emulate their style flawlessly before you apply there. I would recommend following the artists who have worked at Blizzard, and can capture their style. Make fan-art pieces. Make actual WoW models that look like…
@SecretPro - Do you have examples of work you've done? This is assuming there will be no more advancements in games. Instead of hiring less people, why not keep the SAME amount of people and just build a world that's 3x as large or has more variety in props or has better animation, etc. If companies hired less people when…

YES! Quick question - how hard was it for codies to get their head out of the fireworks! and "RADICAL!" sand that they'd been taking the Dirt series down and get back to their roots making the new dirt game? Was there much internal fighting/debates about doing a pc rally game with a bit more 'sim' physics (less casul…
Yeah I figured that might be a thing too. There isn't that many PSX models available on models-resource.com unfortunately so all i can really base myseld on for humanoids is what was done in FF8. On the flipside i suppose that, since UV seams along a pixel lines makes them pretty much invisible, so you can have a lot more…
Don't worry, the tutorial was kinda old and basic, more of a workflow demonstration rather than artistic approach, but i highly recommend doing the head portion of the Joan of Arc tut: http://www.3dtotal.com/ffa/tutorials/max/joanofarc/head1.php Modeling heads is 10% technique and 90% anatomy knowledge. Do the Joan Of Arc…
There could well be a proper export workflow (I don’t really work with cat) but you could always just multi-select the bone objects in unity and remove the mesh filter/renderer components, which will have the same end result as a ‘proper’ solution. Everything is just gameobjects with different components applied at the end…
Ok one last try today on this one. So i did has you all suggested and tried making my mesh look less like clay and more like metal. I had troubles with some areas (eye openings for example) but i did my best and i did what looked good to me. Most importantly i used an FFD modifier to make the front of the helmet more flat…
psp all the way here. but: it really only makes sense if you mod it, so that you can run emulators, etc. then you have a vast selection of games of all genre's that play really nice on that nifty LCD, unlike this tiny DS poo-poo. many genuine psp titles are rather lame and not worth the cash though. 3.03 oe-b is killer.…
